Emboldened by risks and swimming against the tides, Podge Lane sets foot in the United States, ready to share his story. Podge is an Irish alt-country artist, celebrated for his vividly honest lyricism blended with experimental country leanings. Brandishing a broad catalog of raw concept records and energetic live albums, Podge embraces his country and folk stylings, with a uniquely droll and vulnerable edge.

Moving from Ireland, Podge’s checked luggage is filled to the brim with; his debut album, Outer Monologues (2021), sophomore album Common Country Misconceptions (2023), third released album Multiple Dead Ends (2024), along with his live album recorded in London’s iconic Green Note, How You Make Noise When Nobody’s Watching (2024).

Podge is a dynamic live artist having performed various solo tours across Ireland and the UK, featuring as a showcase artist with Ireland’s inaugural ‘You Roots Are Showing' conference, and playing alongside high profile acts such as Charlie Parr, Vieux Farka Touré, The Wedding Present, Rachael Sage, Florence Dore, Steve'N'Seagulls, Crywank, The Wedding Present, Damsel, The Brother Brothers, Cat Clyde and Annika Kilkenny.

Arriving to the US, Podge has already performed across various stages, including Savannah’s Abes on Lincoln and 208 Wine Bar, The Vale Public House and Plaza 33 with Big City Folk and further dates to be announced. With his guitar on his back and treading new ground, Podge has more stories to tell that will draw you in and keep you hanging onto every word!
